Stephanie was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. As a child she was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. She accepted Christ at the age of ten (10) years old, under the leadership of the late Rev. Benjamin Johnson. She did not develop a personal relationship with Christ until years later. Through a crack addiction the Lord led her to Philadelphia Teen Challenge Women’s Home in 1993, after completion she moved to York, PA. In 1994 she graduated from New Life for Children and Mother’s. A ministry dedicated to rebuilding the lives of those with substance abuse and other addictions through Christ. Through these ministry’s God transformed her life through his WORD.

 

Stephanie is the mother of four children, Shonda, Sharee, Jeremy, Shelby, and grandmother to nine (9) beautiful grandchildren.

 

Stephanie has always served people. She is a dedicated public servant, having worked in governments at the local, state, and federal level for over twenty years. She is a staunch community advocate and activist for underserved populations. She currently is employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as a Contract Compliance Supervisor, where ensures small diverse businesses are being utilized on state contracts.

 

Stephanie accepted her call to ministry in 2001 and later that same year gave her initial sermon under the leadership of Pastor James W. Smith, at Maranatha COGIC. In 2005 She became a member of Abundant Life Ministries COGIC. In 2008, under the leadership of Pastor Anthony W. Sease she became licensed as an Evangelist in the COGIC. Through God’s ordained purpose the merger of Maranatha & Abundant Life formed New Covenant Community Church. Evangelist Seaton went through a wilderness experience where her call and election were made sure, and God restored her as only He could. Evangelist Seaton was ordained an Elder of the church in 2019. She serves diligently on the ministerial staff assisting her Pastor, Bishop Anthony W. Sease in many ways.  She is a part of the preaching ministry and the Word Alive teaching ministry. Elder Seaton loves people, and she uses her gifts to encourage and build others up. In January of 2021, Elder Seaton was elevated to the position of Associate Pastor of Laity. In this role her passion for the growth and development for church membership continues to manifest at New Covenant Community Church through her dedication to connect with members where they are.
